The Ceremony of awarding the organic certificates

The ORGANIKA Association organized a ceremony for the organic certification of 30 Kosovar companies dealing with the collection, cultivation and processing of NWFPs and MAPs. ORGANIKA has been implementing the activity to promote organic certification of these local companies for several years. The organic certificates which are accredited for the European market, issued by Albinspekt certification body, are evidence of these companies meeting quality standards and enhancing the credibility of buyers and consumers for their products. Participating at the ceremony were Mr. Isuf Cikaqi and Hysni Thaqi, Directors of the Ministry of Forestry, Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Avni Ramadani, Sector facilitator of the PPSE project, Klodiana Balla, Quality Manager at Albinspekt, as well as business representatives and other stakeholders of the sector. The ceremony was organized with the support of the PPSE project, funded by the Swiss Government.
